Welcome to the Sunday Stills feature created and hosted by Terri Webster Schrandt at Second Wind Leisure Perspectives

This week’s theme is Rise/Set
We stayed in an AirBNB a few years ago and this was the sight that greeted us in the morning. Sunrise over the North Sea…

A cloudy sunrise over the Herefordshire countryside…

Sunset over Llandudno Bay…

A couple of years ago we drove over to Llanddwyn Island on Anglesey to catch the sunset and it was spectacular…

Early morning dog walk with the sun coming up… Can you make out the lone fisherman on the shoreline in the second one?

Sunrise over St Ives harbour

The rising moon was visible quite frequently during April and May with the beautiful weather we had…

This picture was also taken on an early morning dog walk, just as the moon was setting. Unfortunately I only had my phone and was too far away to get a good shot…

I love these! My favourite is the first of the ‘early morning dog walk’ ones – that sky!!!

Gorgeous photos, Cathy. What a great theme for this week. I may have to join in, mainly because I love sunrises and sunsets. I can’t pick a favourite – sorry. They’re all brilliant, and you’ve captured them well—Mother Nature at her best (when she puts on displays like these).

Thanks so much, Hugh. I love sunrises and sunsets too, they vary so much. Mother Nature at her best indeed. Hope you do join in, you must get some stunning ones of both down there.

My favourites are from the ones I took during the winter months, Cathy. I’ve quite a few in my photo album. I may just publish some of them for Wordless Wednesday this week.

Wow, Cathy, your rise/set images are amazing! And oh, that moon shot! I also like the setting moon in your last image!

Thanks so much, Terri. We’re lucky to be able to see sunsets in the summer from the living room window (the third one)
