#SundayStills ~ All Things Wild and Weird #Photography

Welcome to the Sunday Stills feature created and hosted by Terri Webster Schrandt at Second Wind Leisure Perspectives

This week’s theme is Wild and Weird

This unusual lighthouse is know as The Lighthouse on Legs for obvious reasons. It’s situated on the beach at Burnham on Sea on the Bristol Channel and was built in 1832 and is Grade II Heritage listed and as far as I know, still active.

I wonder how long this passenger has been waiting for the driver!

Although these are technically wild Welsh ponies, they’re used to people as long as they don’t get too close.

This exotic looking bird was on display in Cragside, a Victorian Manor House, when we visited last year. Could be a lesser bird of paradise.

Time to exercise the pony…

The smallest house in Great Britain is just 122 inches high and 72 inches wide and occupies a tiny space on Conwy quay. It was lived in by a local fisherman, who was 6 foot 3inches in height, until 1900. I hope he didn’t try to navigate the tiny doorway after a few pints in the pub. The house had just enough space for a single bed, fireplace and coal bunker and apparently an elderly couple lived there before the fisherman.
