I hope it survived yesterday’s storm, Cathy. Many of our garden plants didn’t. Nonetheless, it’s still a beautiful place.

I was thinking that this morning, Hugh. I’d completely forgotten I’d scheduled this post, hence two today. Our garden was battered too, it looks terrible. Lots of cleaning up to do.

Yes, our cleanup is already underway, Cathy. We’ve also had to buy some new pots to replace the damaged ones the storm blew over and broke. Just down the road, an old tree has also come down — such a sad sight. I hope the council replace it with a new one. If not, we may do.

It’s awful when trees come down, but a good idea to replace it if the council doesn’t.

We survived although I’ve lost some of my gladioli that he just started to flower, the unstaked sunflowers however are fine 🤷♀️lol xx

Shame about the gladioli, they’re beautiful flowers. At least the sunflowers weren’t about to let the wind win 😁 xx

Fingers crossed. The wind is fierce here right now too. I’m afraid to look if it’s doing any damage in my garden.
