#SundayStills ~ A few of my favourite #landscapes #NaturePhotography

Welcome to the Sunday Stills feature hosted by Terri Webster Schrandt at Second Wind Leisure Perspectives.

Terri’s prompt this week is land or seascapes. I’m hard pressed to choose which I prefer, it changes from day to day although water in some form does often feature in both options.

The header photo was a walk round a nature reserve not far from where we live.

The photo below is a view of Kielder Water in Northumberland, the largest man made lake in Northern Europe, and surrounded by the largest man made forest in England.

Scottish scenery

The far reaching views from Conwy mountain

Taken from Brimham Rocks in Yorkshire. The rock formation evolved over millions of years movement of entire continents and was sculpted by thousands of years of rain, wind and any other weather conditions thrown at them.

This was the view as we were hiking up a very high hill to the ruins of Dinas Bran, a castle with a commanding view all round, over to the Dee valley and overlooking Llangollen.

And finally, a circular walk with stunning scenery, found by chance in a guide book when we stopped at a cafe which happened to be the start and end of the walk.
