Welcome to the Sunday Stills feature usually hosted by Terry Webster Schrandt. Terry is on a blogging break so for the next three weeks Sunday Stills will be hosted by Natalie the Explorer.
The theme this week is your garden. Since we moved at the end of March this year, the garden has been a work in progress, and still is, but the plants have been growing well and there’s quite a bit of colour.

This Great spotted Woodpecker seemed happy to sit on the fence for a while

Strictly speaking the fox wasn’t in the garden but he could have been! He (or she) was in the field on the other side of the fence.

We don’t have a huge garden but I wanted to add a tree. I went for a rowan and buddleja, which aren’t trees, I know, but great for pollinators.

Hi Cathy, I love your colourful flower photos. Great shots of the woodpecker, the fox and butterfly, too. It looks like we have similar flora and fauna. Are you in North America? Thank you for linking up with #SundayStills.

Very pretty. I love all of those flowers. They make a dwarf butterfly bush that I’d love to get for my yard
