Welcome to the Sunday Stills feature hosted by Terry Webster Shrandt.
This week’s theme is ‘The Pink Side of Life’ so a pretty orchid for the header photo and pink clouds at sunrise.

Pink flowers add a splash of colour to the small Saxon church of St John the Baptist in Edlingham, Northumberland.

Pink hebe with butterfly and bee…

and a blue tit amid the blossom.

Vibrant pink flowers alongside one of the many pathways running through Bodnant Gardens in North Wales.

And a pink backdrop to one of the historical tableaux to be found in St Andrews castle in Scotland.

Stunning images, Cathy.

I love the hebe with its different visitors 🙂 And I thought I knew Northumberland well but I’ve never been to Edlingham. I had to look it up and I see that in addition to this lovely little church it has picturesque castle ruins. Added to my list of places to go next time we’re in the north east!

I love Northumberland and am always amazed at the plces we find to explore. Edlingham church and ruins is a small site but set in beautiful surroundings.
